Meghan Gardiner is a Canadian actor and writer, most notably known for her one woman show, Dissolve, which has been touring North America since 2003. She has performed in theatres across the country in such productions as The Music Man, Dead Metaphor, A Christmas Story, Becky Shaw, Blood Brothers, My Fair Lady, Gunmetal Blues, the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!, Anne of Green Gables, [title of show], and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She was the playwright in residence for Green Thumb Theatre, penning Blind Spot and Role Call, the latter garnering her the Sydney Risk Award at the 2012 Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards. She was nominated for best performance and best screenwriting at the 2013 Leo Awards for Stalled, a short film that visited 54 international film festivals, and won numerous awards, including Best Short Film, Best Actress, Audience Choice Award and Best Experimental Film. Meghan’s play Love Bomb will premiere at the Firehall Arts Centre this fall. Meghan is a YWCA Woman of Distinction nominee, and lives in Vancouver with her husband and son.
